For apartment associations, property managers and waste collectors
A sensor in the lid of each waste container measures how full it is and reports over the mobile network. When a bin is nearly full, the waste collector gets an email automatically.
Why it matters
A fixed collection schedule empties half-full containers and leaves full ones overflowing. A measured fill level lets you order the collection when it is actually needed.
See the fill level of every container on your phone. The alert reaches you before the lid stops closing.
Order a collection when the containers are full instead of paying for a run that empties half-full bins.
Set a fill-level threshold and the collector's email address. When a bin passes it, the collection request goes out by itself.
The sensor also reports when a lid is left open, a container is tipped over or the temperature inside it rises.
How it works
A sensor is screwed into the lid of each container. No cables, no power supply, no gateway.
The sensor measures the distance to the waste with ultrasound and sends it over NB-IoT several times a day.
Fill levels are on your dashboard. When a bin nears full, the alert goes to you and, if you wish, straight to the waste collector.
The sensor
An ultrasonic fill-level sensor built for waste containers: weatherproof, battery powered and connected over the NB-IoT mobile network.
FAQ
No. The sensor has its own SIM card and reports over the NB-IoT mobile network. Its batteries last for years.
Standard wheeled containers and larger ones alike. The ultrasonic sensor measures from 3 cm to 4.5 m, so deep containers are covered too.
Yes. The sensor is rated IP67 and operates from -30 to +70 °C.
Yes. Set the fill level at which the alert fires and add the collector's email address. The collection request is sent without anyone having to call.
